Abstract:

A fusion of FEM analysis with 3D tetris, FEAtris makes construction FEM meshes child's play. This script grabs the internal state of the tetris program and translates it into a format readable by San Le's Free Finite Element Analysis program (SLFFEA). The output of the program is displayed immediately after each tetris brick falls, giving them near real time feedback on how their additions affect the solution.
